About Institute :
Industrial Training Institute, Puri was established in the year 1966 and has completed more than 50 years of useful service to the student community across Odisha by raising their living standards by imparting to them several income generating skills. Different trades of the institute are affiliated to NCVT .Apart from vocational skills, discipline is taught through right attitude towards work, principles of healthy and purposeful life . MOU has been signed with local industries for sharing the technical skill while taking training. English Communication Skills/soft skills are also taught through TATA Strive-Bagchi Soft Skill Development Programme such that the students are industry ready & placed in national & multinational companies. Special attention is given to extracurricular activities such as Martial Arts, games/sports, debate-cum-student-seminars, cultural programs and community works, Swachh Varat Abhiyan, Entrepreneur Development Programme to develop the interpersonal skills of the trainees.
